Now that I've been skating in the Rollerdome (aka the concourse of the Metrodome) a couple times, I think I've decided that I really have a preference for ice. Here are my 'scary skates' with wheels rather than ice blades.I might need to find a different summer activity that will still help me keep in shape so I'm ready to 'compete' in the next speedskating season this coming winter. (Even my running shoes are encouraging competition!)
