It's time to work through lots and lots of sap collected from trees to get syrup! The best weather for collecting sap includes temperatures below freezing at night and above freezing during the day.I missed how many gallons of sap went into this approximately quart and a half of dark syrup... while it can be put on pancakes, it's yummy over ice cream.
